About the event
Austria is know as a white wine country. I invite you to explore the quality and variety of Austrian REDS.
Taste 8 red wines from Austria, different grape varieties, different wine growing regions and also a very rare aged wine.
Thanks to its warm, continental climate, the eastern part of Austria (namely the Burgenland) has great conditions to produce red wines. 3 local grape varieties dominate the red wine scene in Austria. Think of Zweigelt, fruity and plus, Blaufränkisch, elegant and structured, and Sankt Laurent, light and earthy (kind of like Pinot Noir's little brother).
A wine tasting evening fully dedicated to Austrian red wines shows how far their popularity has grown. A diverse set of wines that match well with food hold the recipe for a memorable evening. I'm happy to invite you for a heart-warming evening with special wines to taste and enjoy!
