Winemaker's tasting note: This is where Welschriesling really shows what it’s made of. Even the nose raises expectations sky-high; the delicate, highly nuanced bouquet reveals fruits such as Nashi pears, ripe apples and a hint of quince, whilst with a little aeration, wonderful aromas of blood orange zest emerge, along with a subtle, finely balanced minerality. On the palate, there is layer upon layer of richness, attractively interwoven with great finesse – breathe in, breathe out, and savour.
